On Miyao (
Appearance[]
On is a girl with average height, dark brown with a hint of purple hair and pinkish purple eyes. At school, she wears Ichirin Highschool's uniform - white shirt, a tie and a plated skirt.
However while dancing, she is usually seen wearing pastel pink Chinese-style Tang suit top, pastel blue paperbag joggers, white belt, pink shoes and a pastel purple cap that spells "OFF".
In the manga, her cap spells "ON".
Personality[]
On is confident, upbeat, sweet and reliable. She's generally loved by everyone around her. She has a side to her that's a bit calculating that only a handful of people have noticed and taken that badly.
Many people expect her to be a perfect leader and view her as one due to her charisma, but she does tend to struggle with leading the club at times. In reality, she also has a hard time figuring out her roles and what is appropriate to do as a person of that position.
Despite her strong personality and her ability to communicate and lead others, she still has a hard time managing her personal relationships, especially when it involves her own emotions. Behind the strong front, she likely has a fear of being judged because she expects herself to be perfect at everything, which is why she steers herself away from unfamiliar experiences.

Quotes[]
- (To Hikari Wanda and Aoi Tachi) "Feeling is... well... It's hard to put into words. [...] When you listen to music... It's the way you sense it. It stirs different emotions in each person. [...] But the thing about people is, they sort of forget how to talk when they're excited. They naturally begin to express themselves with their body. [...] ...I personally think... that that's what dance is. In club, [...] ... I'm teaching dance skills. But the crucial thing is how you dance. And that's something every dancer has to figure out for themselves. That's because 'feeling' springs from more than just that moment. It's that dancer's personal life. The way they were raised. Even the thing they normall repress - their fears, their anxieties... or, say, experiences of discrimination. All those things are reflected in the music... and pulled to the forefront by it.[2]
