Gaku Kabeya (
Appearance[]
Gaku is a short but very fit guy. He stands out with lilac colored hair and dark green grayish eyes and is usually seen wearing black clothes, especially notable with his cap that spells "#fucking life" and black cloth face mask.
In the anime, his cap spells "bachikso" - censored version of bachikuso (バチくそ), which is a slang in japanese for "extremely" or "as shit", the closest english equivalent is "freaking".
Personality[]
Gaku has a cheeky and brazen personality, which earns him lots of grudges from other dancers. He has a very strong opinion on breaking and believes that anyone who doesn't do break dancing is running away from it.
Despite his skills and love for break dancing, Gaku seems to be constantly seeking approval from other dancers, as he wants them to see how great breaking is. Due to this reason, he tends to prepare a lot of premade sets beforehand, and uses them in his battles, as he believes that breaking is about audiences' reactions to his skills demonstration rather than letting the music lead naturally.
Although confident on the outside, he seems to always think the worse of others and he believes that everyone hates him, as evident by his twitter posts. Due to his deeply pessimistic view of the world around him, Gaku has developed anger issues and he often lets out his rage on objects. Deep down, he's a lonely boy who wants someone to share his passions with him. Despite his cheeky attitude, he is quite simple, he treats others the way he's treated. He is usually kind towards his underclassmen, and is always eager to teach others about breaking.

壁 kabe) and "valley" (谷 ya), and his first name contains "fun/music" (楽 gaku). - Gaku has been dancing for 6 years.
